Welcome back to Daihmler County, Alabama. This is the home of the Blanchard family. The Blanchards are a close-knit, loving southern family...who also happen to be witches. 

In their last adventure, Olympia Blanchard, her daughters, and her adult grandchildren came close to death fighting the werewolf killer plaguing the town. During the course of trying to outmaneuver him, Seth and Yasmine realized their lifelong love for one another and were married. The battle against the wolf was epic and in the end he was destroyed--but not before leaving Fable Blanchard secretly with child.

PRODIGAL DAUGHTERS picks up where THE BLANCHARD WITCHES OF DAIHMLER COUNTY left off.  


The Blanchard family believes life is back to normal...but they could not be more wrong. The Autumn leaves aren't the only things changing as more problems emerge for the Blanchard witches.

One of Olympia's daughters is missing, and the family must figure out why. Demitra has a new beau, but he isn't who he appears to be.  Salem will have to face down the family nemesis, Atheidrelle Obreiggon, risking everything to right the wrongs of the past.  And Fable continues to conceal her secret pregnancy not knowing what the family will do if they discover her baby was fathered by the werewolf who almost killed them all. 


While the love that fills Blanchard House may be magical, that love will be tested by secrets and new dangers in this second installment of the Blanchard Witches series.

The Birth of The Blanchard Witches Book Series

The first book began twenty years ago when I wrote it as a stand alone book.  I never fully finished it and set it aside as life got in the way and my job and family took precedence.  But I never fully let go of my dream to finish the story and get published. Then in 2018 after selling my business and my son being in elementary school I began wondering what I was going to do now.  That was when I pulled out my dusty writing from the file cabinet I hadn't opened in a decade and reread my Blanchard story.  I decided to finish it...only it wasn't finished with me. The more I tried to wrap up the tale, the more ideas came to me.  I quickly realized THE BLANCHARD WITCHES OF DAIHMLER COUNTY was not "a book"...it was a series.  There was just far too much depth and texture to these people for them to fade away in one story. Book Signing Event at Ernest and Hadley

I had a spectacular time in Tuscaloosa, Alabama last week at Ernest & Hadley Booksellers for my book signing event.   Ernest & Hadley is a special place to me.  They hosted my very first book signing and have been avid supporters and fans of the Blanchard Witches series from the start!  I always feel so much love when there and their store has remarkable book selections in every genre. We held the event outside on this glorious spring day.  I met so many wonderful people and saw a lot of familiar faces who are always so great to support me!  I think what I love most is that now as we are further into the series with the release of Book 3 STITCHES IN TIME, more people attend who have read all of the books and we can have lively discussion.  Of course I never divulge too much so as to ruin surprises for those just beginning the series.  However, I do try to sneak off privately with those caught all the way up so we can dish about the entire three books.

A Little Blanchard Backstory...

When the first book THE BLANCHARD WITCHES OF DAIHMLER COUNTY begins, the Blanchard family is already long established in the town of Daihmler. They've been here for generations, living in the white three story farmhouse with the wrap around porch and four story tower. Olympia Blanchard is in her seventies and though beloved by her daughters and grandchildren for being the sage old giver of wisdom--Olympia has lived quite a life her offspring are not completely aware of. In her youth, she and her sister Pastoria--and their lifelong friend Zelda, helped many people and saved many lives (and possibly the world) a time or two. Olympia has been married three times by the time readers meet her in Book One. Her first husband, John Windham died shortly after the birth of their third child.
