Book Signing Event at Ernest and Hadley

Image
I had a spectacular time in Tuscaloosa, Alabama last week at Ernest & Hadley Booksellers for my book signing event.   Ernest & Hadley is a special place to me.  They hosted my very first book signing and have been avid supporters and fans of the Blanchard Witches series from the start!  I always feel so much love when there and their store has remarkable book selections in every genre. We held the event outside on this glorious spring day.  I met so many wonderful people and saw a lot of familiar faces who are always so great to support me!  I think what I love most is that now as we are further into the series with the release of Book 3 STITCHES IN TIME, more people attend who have read all of the books and we can have lively discussion.  Of course I never divulge too much so as to ruin surprises for those just beginning the series.  However, I do try to sneak off privately with those caught all the way up so we can dish about the entire three books.

NEW CHARACTER! QUESTIONING HER NAME...

Image
So as I am writing the 5th installment of THE BLANCHARD WITCHES  (title for #5 not totally decided yet), I am introducing a fun new character.  She is an African-American woman, strong willed and fiercely driven.  She's a good guy, not a villain.  I have landed on the name Daphanie Channing.  So far, no one else in my immediate circle is sold on the name.  But every time I am writing her scenes I see her as a Daphanie.  The wheels in my head have been turning.  Would be interested to know any fan opinions.  The book is still in editing so not too late to change it.  Any thoughts?

The design artist, Paul Palmer-Edwards is so talented and has really made my books pop.  Check out his website if you want to see more of his fantastic work. https://paulpalmer-edwards.com/books

THE BLANCHARD WITCHES Won an Award!

Image
The first book in the series THE BLANCHARD WITCHES OF DAIHMLER COUNTY won the Distinguished Favorite Award for Supernatural Thriller!  I am very excited.  I came home sick from a family trip to Disney World where I caught a bug on the last day.  It was late the next afternoon when I found out the news.  I think the thrill knocked the sickness out of me!
