I've been asked a few time who my favorite character is in the world of the Blanchards. That is too difficult an answer to give for several reasons. I could say that since I created everyone, its hard to choose a favorite. But that isn't actually true. Primarily, its difficult to pick because each book has multiple storylines different from its preceding book. Some characters are more in the foreground in certain volumes and not in others. And, (spoiler alert) not everyone stays alive through the course of the series. For this reason, and since right now only the first book is on the shelves, I will speak only of Volume One THE BLANCHARD WITCHES OF DAIHMLER COUNTY. In a series about a family of witches, its a little ironic that my absolute favorite character in this introductory book into the Blanchard world, is Yasmine Sinclair--who is not a witch and has no powers at all.
